About the NACS Foundation

Propelling Brighter Futures

Every year, the convenience and fuel retailing industry dedicates billions of dollars to advancing the futures of individuals and families in our communities. The NACS Foundation exists to unify and build on NACS members’ charitable efforts, to amplify the work being done in communities across America, and to share these powerful stories.

Our History

The NACS Foundation, founded in 1994, was first established with a mission to support the education of future industry leaders through the NACS Scholarship Program. In 2018, the Foundation expanded this mission to include new program areas that align with NACS members’ philanthropic priorities: serving first responders, fighting hunger, supporting healthy kids, and keeping our communities clean. The relaunch of the NACS Foundation signifies its dedication to serve as a catalyst for the industry, where it can convene partners, marshal resources, organize efforts, and spark initiatives that will increase the impact of the industry’s charitable efforts.

Our Mission

The NACS Foundation unifies and builds on NACS members’ philanthropic priorities—amplifying the industry’s power to positively impact lives of individuals and families of all ages, in neighborhoods of all sizes, across America and beyond.

Our Vision

Propelled by the NACS Foundation, the convenience and fuel retail industry will deepen and elevate its reach and resources to celebrate the people and places it serves while helping them overcome threats to success.

Our Purpose

The NACS Foundation serves as a point of centralization and catalyzation—amplifying the reach, resonance, and impact of our convenience, supplier, and fuel retail members’ tremendous charitable efforts.

Our Signature Programs

The NACS Foundation developed five signature industry-wide programs through collaboration with members, partners, and funders. Our programs focus on the areas that are most important to NACS members and the communities that they serve: supporting healthy children and families fighting childhood diseases, supporting first responders and funding disaster relief, investing in education and career opportunities for future leaders, fighting hunger and food insecurity, and doing our part to keep our towns and communities beautiful.
