Serving First Responders

Convenience is about being there when we’re needed most. For first responders and communities in need of disaster relief, convenience and fuel retailing stores are there, often as the only retailers who remain open in a crisis. That’s why the NACS Foundation honors first responders and contributes to disaster relief efforts through its Response Relief signature program: 24/7 Day.

Join Us For 24/7 Day

This July 24 (24/7 Day), the NACS Foundation is uniting convenience stores across America in recognizing first responders, medical personnel and American Red Cross volunteers who work around the clock, 24/7, serving our communities to ensure people don’t face emergencies alone. The annual event helps raise awareness and donations for the urgent humanitarian needs of the American Red Cross and spotlights our industry’s important role in supporting local heroes and the communities we serve.

Learn more about how you can join our mission to amplify the good work done every day in local communities where we live and work by taking part in 24/7 Day.

#ConvenienceCares

When our communities need us most, the convenience industry is always there. NACS members provide essential resources and services on the front line to employees and customers within their communities during times of crisis.

$1 billion is donated annually to charities by U.S. convenience stores.

#24/7 Day

To serve first responders and support disaster relief efforts in communities across the country, the NACS Foundation’s Response Relief Program hosts an annual 24/7 Day along with participating convenience industry retailers, suppliers and partners, in support of the American Red Cross.

Convenience stores are often the only retailers who remain open during a crisis, serving both first responders and communities in need.
