Caring for Neighbors

The NACS Foundation’s Neighborhood Nourish program will help to fight hunger by collecting donations for local food banks and participating in volunteer activities to help people experiencing homelessness or food insecurity.

We Serve

Convenience cares about fighting food insecurity. Our members and partners host food drives, contribute donations, and provide meals to families in need. As a major source of food for many Americans, convenience stores can play an important role in addressing food insecurity and hunger in the communities we serve.

1 in 6 children in the United States face hunger (No Kid Hungry)

Food Drives

To help address hunger and food insecurity, the NACS Foundation’s Neighborhood Nourish program will host a month-long food drive and donation program to benefit local food banks. As part of this program, the NACS Foundation will mobilize volunteers to support local groups working to address food insecurity and homelessness.

Food insecurity affects every county in America: 1 in 8 people in the U.S. struggle with hunger, or 40 million Americans (Feeding America/USDA)
